A site from my Web Portfolio

HelpSchools.net

HelpSchools.net
HelpSchools is a new business in Salem, Oregon that supplements school fundraising by donating money to athletic and activity programs in schools across the United States. You can visit the site and pick a school to support, then visit an online store through HelpSchools.net. A portion of your purchase price is donated to your school at no extra cost to you.

I designed this site, as well as writing a complete PHP/MySQL/AJAX backend to enable the company to donate money to the schools chosen by their users. I continue to work on the site to provide maintenance and improvements.

TrueGoal – new interface

I’m working now on a new interface for TrueGoal as part of the complete rewrite of the program. It’s only got superficial functionality at the moment, but here are a few screenshots/previews of the main part of the interface. I’m calling it the “incredible bar” with a wink to Firefox. As usual, click any and all pictures to make them BEEG (and complete, the thumbnails are cropped).

1. Choose an action:

2. After typing an action, type a comma ( , ) and you’ll see more options. Note that it prompts you for the correct format for the command, and gives a complete list of options at each step. After every step, type a comma to move on:

New cards!

I got new business cards! I made them to mostly match my website, using the same colors at least. The sidde with the writing is the front, the logo is the back (although the cards are matte on both sides, so it’s hard to tell).

…picture coming… ok, here it is (click for B-I-G(ger):
